Upon opening the studio in 2000, Miss Lisa established the Competitive Performance Company, which has spent more than two decades representing the studio at various competitions in and beyond Southern Ontario winning category and overall awards, earning scholarships and setting records! Many of our CPC dancers have gone on to pursue careers in dance performance such as in TV, movies, music videos and theatre, as well as dance education.
Auditions take place every June following the annual spring recital. Dancers must be proficient in ballet and jazz, and must also study other styles such as tap, acrobatics, contemporary and stretch and strength. Dancers must display focus and commitment, and the ability to keep up with an at-times significant rehearsal schedule.
